so basicaly I’ll post the whole chapter so ou dont have to go digging through your things trying to find a Bible. here it goes!

30:1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. 30:3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. 30:6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. 30:7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. 30:8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication. 30:9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? 30:10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. 30:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; 30:12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

I like what the Psalmist is saying here, especially in verse one, “…thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice against me.” First of all, God cares about us that he holds us in high esteem, for him to even care is BIG enough, but that he even holds us high, like a friend, thats freaking crazy! Second,  we’re not mocked by our foes or people that dont associate with us… and I say this because honestly there are people who dont like me but I wouldnt take it as far as to say they are my foe or that I am in battle with them. Even Jesus ate with the prostitutes and tax collectors, he pretty much befriended them.
In verse two and three he is healing us, but not because we deserve it, the verse says that we “cried out” to Him, and God answered. cool, eh? I’ve been reading this book called ‘Crazy Love’, its by Francis Chan, anywho, I think this is the crazy love that Chan is writing of, because we definately have not ever been deserving of anything.
In verse four we are to give thanks to God for being holy and set apart, we are directed to sing of his holiness. Praise Him for the healing and life. the next few verses I believe are a praise.
Verse twelve goes on to say “TO THE END THAT MY GLORY MAY SING PRAISE TO THEE, AND NOT BE SILENT…” this is my favorite verse in the whole chapter, its sort of the whole pray without ceasing idea. and I really like “to the end” its not “after camp”, “after church is over”, “til I’m an adult and have real things to complain about”. Its clearly saying forever, eternity.

what if you’re drowning and your friends are describing the water to you?
does that mean that the water still isnt rushing over you, pulling you down, entering your lungs and suffocating you?

all too often i feel like: I have this issue (it could be anything, I’m really not being specific here because I have alot of issues) and I’m telling you that I have this problem, I’m opening up, I’m being vulnerable. and you are standing there telling me that I should just let it go, it doesnt matter in the long run, but I’m telling you now that it does.

I’m hurt, and though I’m not licking my wounds here, i am asking for a little help. I have alot of faults, i talk over people, I bite my nails, I joke way too much, most of the time I’m really snarky, and I blame others for things that I am doing. I dont know how to get out of these holes, I’m gonna need a hand. A relatable hand, someone who knows what its like to be me, but at the same time is better at being me than I am.

I guess this will help you get to know me a little better, sort of  like an ice-breaker.

so I played some music for a few crowds of people that have never heard me before, and apparently I have a great voice. I think it’s weird to hear that because my dad is always telling me “you’re not doing it right! you have to sing from your diaphram!” and it feels like I am… I dunno… how can you tell? anyways I was really encouraged to hear that. I just thought I’d share the excitement.

some people might find it strange, I find it peaceful.
yes, I eat out alone. and by “out”  I mean out out, not like taco bell out, like ruby tuesdays out. I enjoy it, being out alone is different than being out with 50 people and waiting 4 hours for a table cause they have a carpenter in the back building a table to fit all of us and a contractor out front taking down some walls for the room. I like not feeling like I have to have something to say all the time. also youget to choose the restaurant when you go out alone, you dont have to fight in the car wheather you’re going to chili’s or red lobster.
and I guess I could say I’m not cut out for fast food.

went to a toga party on sat, totally rocked my plaid toga. did a little bonding with my bro… which sometimes means being the DD, it was fine by me anyways. the party was totally fun we had pizza and told corny jokes and my bro fanned us with a leaf. I’ll post some pictures when I can find them…

so it’s wednesday, and we’re on the third episode of Bravo’s Project Runway Season 5.
poor Emily got auft’, and honestly her dress looked pretty darn close to Blaynes dress, the difference, Blayne’s was made tastefully.
Tim Gun learned how to “HOLLA ATCHA BOYEE”, and you can go to bravotv.com to vote on whether that should be his new catch phrase, although nothing can compair to “make it work!”. lets be real here.
Kenleys dress was great, and really did look like New York at night. it was inovative and yet had a vintage quality to it.
all in all it was a my favorite episode yet for season 5, and I cant wait to see whats next. my favorite moments are always at mood, thats where the real action goes down… srsly.

what a weekend it has been, I’ve been off for 5 days, not by choice… thats just the way it worked out.

i realized how much of a wuss I am, for real. on saturday a friend was trying to get people on board for a new sunday school, she enlisted me into a phone “party” shananagin. I was the only person that showed, and I HATE talking on the phone, and and I am also awkwardly fearful of talking to strangers. it was bad, like real bad, I think I talked to all of 3 people, left like 4 voicemails, hung up on two, and one # didnt actually exist. & even with a script I still screwed up. ugh!

please dont ever make me do that again.

with the inspiration of musician/blogger vicky beechings (vickybeeching dot com) tour of her junk… I mean jeep, I have cleaned out my ‘91 le baron convertable. my le baron has holes in the roof so I try to seal them regularly with duct tape… sometimes it comes off… okay, it always comes off. I try not to leave anything of importance in my car because, with all honesty, you could just reach right through the roof, unlock the door and grab what you want.
in the foot-well of the passenger seat I found:
a pizza box
12 coffee cups
tons of random fast food trash

in the backseat I found:
a mic stand
a pair of jeans
a pair of cords
2 polos
a sweater vest
drum sticks
alot of broken guitar picks
3 hoodies
a seat cover

basically thats it. lol.
after I cleaned the inside I cleaned the outside. fun fun!
